Lesson 2 | On a street in the desert

Hello. New situation for perspective. We have the horizon as always, we have it here. Name it. Horizon.

And we have a vanishing point in the middle because we are walking on the street and rectangular to the vanishing point. This is my standing point. And because I am walking on the left side of the street, I have here a line. And I have here another line that is quite tending to the right.

I’m standing on the left side of the street.

Okay, I want to ask you to draw some street lights. Streetlights are very tall, so taller than me, meaning they are above eye level, I don’t know, somewhere here, maybe somewhere here, or even here. And they behave to the vanishing point like all lines that go along the streets like this. So this helps me. If I want to draw some street lights here and here, or here, I can draw them.

I can draw them very easily. And another idea is that I have close to the street lights, I have some small Pillots that are standing here. So only sized 30, 40 centimeters, something like this, or even a little bit more. So I can use the same concept. I have a line that helps me.

And then I can draw all these pillars because they have all the same size along the street. That’s it. So you understand this concept and you can do a drawing by yourself.
